Grounds for Divorce: The court may grant a no-fault divorce upon a showing that the marriage is irretrievably broken. If the marriage is a covenant marriage, the court may grant a divorce for any of the following grounds:
1. Adultery
2. Imprisonment
3. Abandonment
4. Sexual or physical abuse
5. The spouses have been living separate and apart continuously without reconciliation for at least two years prior
6. The spouses have been living separate and apart continuously without reconciliation for at least one year from the date the decree of legal separation was entered
7. Drug or alcohol abuse
8. The husband and wife both agree to a dissolution of marriage

Residency Requirements: “That one of the parties, at the time the action was commenced, was domiciled in this state, or was stationed in this state while a member of the armed services, and that in either case the domicile or military presence has been maintained for ninety days prior to filing the petition for dissolution of marriage.” [Arizona Statutes]
