Donna Beck Weaver is a veteran family law attorney and former litigator. A member of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), Ms. Weaver is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist, State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Weaver practiced for more than a decade with the well-known Los Angeles family law litigation firm of Trope and Trope. Ms. Weaver left Trope and Trope to open a practice devoted to resolution of family law matters using innovative processes such as collaborative law and mediation.
Ms. Weaver is ranked AV rated by the prestigious Martindale Hubbell Law Directory. Ms. Weaver has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer for 2006. Ms. Weaver was selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals beginning 2007.
Ms. Weaver is a founder and the President of the Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association. She serves on the AAML national Mediation / Collaborative Law Committee. She is a member of the Board of Directors of AAML Southern California Chapter and is Chair of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee. Ms. Weaver has served on the Executive Committees of the California State Bar Family Law Section and the Los Angeles Family Law Section. Ms. Weaver is a frequent writer and lecturer on topics in Family Law. Ms. Weaver has two adult daughters and is now a grandmother.
