I’ve been married for about 7 1/2 years and now separated for 4 months. We have a 6-month-old child. My husband left us and moved into an apartment stating he didn’t love me anymore. Over the last 4 months, I’ve come to the conclusion that our marriage is over for me as well. During this time, I’ve also met a man who I think could be very special. My husband after 17 years of marriage has filed for divorce and is claiming that he can trace all funds used to purchase vehicles and the residence from separate property acquired before the marriage. The vehicles have been depreciated off against a business I solely ran. We filed taxes jointly. Could you please point me in the direction of the laws concerning separate property? HELP !!!!
I’ve been legally divorced since November 07. My attorney assured me as well as my landlord and utlility conpanies that I would recieve in excess of 29k as well as 24 k in allimony over 2 yrs begining Dec 1 2009.
A supreme court judege has ruled he does not have to pay child support or alimony UNTIL the home we mutually one is sold. HMy ex lives in this home and I HAVE BEEN OUT ON MY OWN FOR 18 MONTHS with three children under 10 !
The goverment services won’t help because my name is on the property.
The Supreme court judge has me in contempt for not moving back to the property where my ex terrorized our children with constant visits from police as well as 9 false CPS cases being filed against me in an attempt to have me arrested and gain full custody.
So I moved our children with my attorneys permisson as well as is financial grnty to my LL and utilities. I am going broke living off a small retirement fund and with my childrens needs work has not been an option.
I gave ALL my Final Divorce papers to Child Collection Svcs. they reviewed them and froze my exs assets. THe judge ordered ME in contempt of court and ordered them to CLOSE the application and not to reopen a new one until HE said so !!! WHAT IS THAT ????
Simultaniously with the above court order the local Judge in the town has an order of protection forbidding me from going near the property. I AM CONSTANTLY AT FAULT. He has manuvered two courts and three different police departments.
He has the house, the stocks and is COURT ORDERED NOT TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT, yet I have been on my own with then since Oct 07. He still has them every other weekend or I am once again incontempt of court.
THe house is not being kept up and WILL NOT SELL in this market and soon my children and I will run out of money.
Today ALL three of my children are being medicated from the anxiety, struggling in school, have developed hernias from the stress and see a pychiatrist monthly as well as a psychologist and social groups weekly.
THe damage their father and his friends have done is beyond words.
And here we are AN AMERICAN CITEZEN AND HER THREE SMALL CHILDREN LEFT ON OUR OWN!!!!
