Last week I had the great pleasure of meeting published author, speaker and personal development coach, Susan Hanshaw, and reading her wonderful book, Inner Architect: How to Build the Life You Were Designed to Live.

Inner Architect: How to Build the Life You Were Designed to Live is an inspirational yet very practical guide for anyone who is ready to make a major life transition and needs support and guidance before taking the leap. It is easy to read and addresses the mental, emotional and physical obstacles that must be overcome and the steps taken, to initiate change.

As an entrepreneur who left the corporate legal world to pursue my passion (The Modern Woman’s Divorce Guide), I can attest to the validity of Susan’s analysis and recommendations. For example, Susan accurately explains that it often takes twice as much time and money as originally estimated, to launch a new endeavor and you should double your original estimates. Susan also soundly suggests that you devise a plan before beginning your journey, which sounds like a no-brainer, but is often overlooked in the initial frenzy of getting your dream off the ground. And, in the midst of giving very valid, practical advice for accomplishing your goals, Susan has a beautiful way of discussing the spirituality of following one’s life purpose.
