Thursday Thirteen, Third Edition

Here are thirteen blogs and/or websites I visit almost daily. Almost all are about or written by women and I think you’ll like them:

  1. Kat Wilder - Kat is a divorced mother who lives in my neck of the woods. Her humor, insights and poignant questions about dating, divorce and raising children in our hood make for an entertaining morning.
  2. eMoms At Home - Written by Wendy Piersall, who once upon a time was a struggling single mom living with her parents, is filled with up-to-the minute information about being a successful eMom at home. Wendy’s Monday Motivation posts usually get my butt in gear at the beginning of each week.
  3. Blogher - A community of women bloggers share breaking news (whether national or personal) about almost every topic under the sun. Two of my favorite Blogher writers are Liz Rizzo and Zandria, both of whom write about sex and relationships. I also read their personal blogs, which are number 4 and 5 below.
  4. Every Day Goddess - Adventures of an Everyday Goddess in La La Land written by Liz Rizzo
  5. Keep Up With Me - Zandria’s personal musings
  6. Hold My Purse - Husband and wife team Amy Kean and John Schwartz answer reader’s questions about men, women and relationships. Their posts, whether written or video taped, give “A ‘he said/she said’ take on life’s sticky situations.” I love their repertoire.
  7. Singles Coach - Nina Atwood tackles the tough issues in relationships, dating and marriage. Great advice for anyone in, ending or beginning a relationship.
  8. Dear Sugar - is filled with advice given by Dear Sugar, E. Jean and other readers in “group therapy”. Almost all of the topics discussed are those raised by readers and they run the gamut from relationships to pets to fashion.
  9. Mighty Girl - is the beautiful blog of Maggie Mason, happily married (refreshingly), mom of Hank, freelance writer and publisher of Mighty Goods and Mighty Junior. Happiness and warmth just jump off of her pages and photographs.
  10. Divine Caroline - “Life in your words.” A site written by women for women, it’s pages are filled with women’s stories about life.
  11. The Astrologer - KT the Astrologer gives a daily summary of the ins and outs of astrology - I find it interesting to see whether her daily cautions or predictions actually happen to me.
  12. Rich Girl Guide - Written by author Alicia Dunams, this blog offers Alicia’s insight into what she learned about becoming a millionaire while dating rich guys.
  13. Brazen Careerist - Author Penelope Trunk discusses career, employment, human resources and personal topics that can prove very helpful to anyone in, entering or exiting the doggie-dog business world.

And there you have it. Thirteen blogs I find interesting and read regularly. I hope you visit and enjoy them too. Happy Thursday Thirteen.

Looking forward to checking these blogs out. :)

Great list! Kat and I have discovered we blog about similar things. (I’m a single dad in the Bay Area, with stories about two-home parenting and the crazy world of modern dating.)
