2007 Year End Wrap-ups and Conclusions

With 2008 just around the corner, are there decisions you could make or actions to be taken that would wrap-up loose ends in your life before you ring in the New Year? For example, if you have been contemplating divorce for the last 8 months, can you finally decide whether to recommit or call it quits? Or, if you have already filed for divorce and the process has stalled, is there anything you can do to move if forward – like read and sign your Marital Settlement Agreement? Or, if you’re already divorced and your husband has moved out but left half of his crap stuff behind, can you stick it in boxes or trash bags, put it in the garage and tell your ex to pick it up before the first or you’re calling Goodwill?

“Why should you spend your weekend and holiday dealing with these issues?” you ask. Because studies have actually shown that unfinished business can have a physical or neurological affect on our bodies that detracts from our mental and physical well-being. In other words, if you have unfinished business, like a stalled divorce, it can prevent you from performing at your peak and living “your best life ever”. (I’ll search for a link to this study and update the post when I find it.) And, according to KT The Astrologer:

As the year draws to a close, it’s always good to review and let go, in order to avoid carrying unnecessary baggage forward. Today’s Third Quarter Moon certainly helps with this task. It’s our monthly opportunity to clean house, both literally and symbolically. Today also brings a Sun-Saturn trine. Saturn often refers to loss. Right now, we can use the Sun to help illuminate exactly what it is we should let go. Participating consciously with this energy makes it a little bit easier.

So what’s it going to be ladies? Is there anything you can and will do today or tomorrow to give you closure or a cleaner house? If there is, we’d love to hear about your year end wrap-ups so we can cheer you on! And, to get the ball rolling, I’ll start by pledging to tackle the unfinished paperwork in my personal Inbox before 2008 rolls in (fun, fun!) Good luck ladies!!

This is not legal advice. You should consult an attorney if you have legal questions that relate to your specific divorce. Technorati Tags:

I finished approximately one-third of the stuff I want to get done before the end of this year….so I’ve got a busy day tomorrow before raising my champagne glass at midnight!!
