WWE Hulk Hogan’s Wife of 24 Years Files for Divorce

“Professional wrestling’s biggest all time star Terry Gene Bollea, better known around the world as ‘Hulk Hogan’ has been hit with the news that his longtime wife Linda has filed for divorce in Pinellas County, Florida. No grounds for the divorce application have been confirmed yet, but Linda is represented by attorney Elliot Jay Goldstein of Largo, Florida.”

“Hulk and Linda have been under intense media scrutiny since their 17 year old Nick Bollea crashed his Toyota Supra and slammed into a tree, causing passenger John Graziano a brain injury that has left him in a coma ever since. That accident, which occurred on August 26th, has lead to felony criminal charges filed against Nick as an adult.”

This news comes just weeks after the announcement that legendary rock star Carlos Santana’s wife of 34 years filed for divorce. While it shouldn’t surprise us that another celebrity couple is breaking up, it is nonetheless surprising. Perhaps it’s because Hulk Hogan and his wife appeared to be happy in their television reality show Hogan Knows Best, or maybe it’s because we continue to believe that marriage can successfully and happily span decades and when it doesn’t, our hopes are dashed.
