Struggling on Saturday?

Weekends are often the most difficult days in divorce. The world is quieter and the noises in your head and feelings in your heart are louder. If your children are with their father or this is one of your first weekends as a single gal, you may feel empty, with nothing to do and noone to turn to. You may feel empty but your life doesn’t have to be empty.

You have the power to fill your life and soul with happiness, friends and fun. You are your own best friend who can lift your spirits. All you need do is take the first steps. You can call a friend and take a walk together. Go to your local bookstore to read amongst warm bodies. Visit your local sporting goods store and sign up for an activity class like rock climbing or kayaking. Start a new project like painting your living room or planting an herb garden. You can do anything you want. All you’ve got to do is DO IT! So logoff and get out there to create the life you want.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step.” Old Chinese Proverb

That is why I like finding new sites like this one. I needed to hear that for a single mom. I sometimes need to hear similar things like this one over and over especially when it was what I was doing. Thank you I will focus focus n not get too down.
