Get Motivated Monday

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. It’s also the first day of the week and a perfect time to set daily and weekly goals for your divorce. By setting small, achievable goals that can be accomplished within a day or week, you can make the divorce process more manageable and hopefully, move through it more quickly. You can also experience the satisfaction of completing a task successfully.

If the idea of goal setting sounds great but you’re not sure where to begin, we’d like to suggest you set your goals on paper. Yes, paper.

For those of you who recently decided to divorce, download your state’s divorce forms [paper] today and begin filling them out by hand.

For those of you who have already filed for divorce or been served, download our Copy Cat Worksheet and gather all of the documents [paper] you may need during the divorce process.

For those of you who are already divorced, download our Post Divorce Checklist [paper], identify any unresolved tasks you need to tackle, pick one and complete it this week.

If the idea of goal setting isn’t new to you and paper isn’t your thing today, we’d love to hear about your daily and weekly goals. Please, tell us which divorce tasks you’re tackling today and share your motivation with us.
