Can This Marriage Be Saved?
Marriage is challenging. Being single again can be equaling challenging. So, before you divorce it’s worthwhile to ask yourself if you might save your marriage. But how do you know when you should or shouldn’t keep your relationship together? Ultimately, the decision is personal, but if your answer to all or most of the following questions is a resounding “YES”, it may be time to let go and proceed with divorce.
1. Are you unable to heal from your husband’s infidelity?
2. Does your husband abuse you and/or your children?
3. Does every conversation with your husband turn into a fight?
4. Have you lost all respect for your husband?
5. Do you feel your husband doesn’t respect you?
6. Have you grown and changed while your husband hasn’t?
7. Have you and your husband changed so much that you no longer share the same or similar values?
8. Are you and your husband sexually incompatibile?
9. Do you or your husband continually raise or dwell on hurtful events from the past?
10. Is your husband unwilling or unable to help save your marriage?
11. Is your husband emotionally unavailable?
